Xanthe Tunley-Stainton
Xanthe [she/her/hers] is the Grants Operations Officer at Global Fund for Women.
Xanthe started her career in grantmaking with an internship with the Global Fund for Children which inspired her to commit to Trust Based Philanthropy practices and a career in philanthropy. She managed several small grants addressing masculinity and gender equity and helped to establish the Spark Fund for young people. Following the internship, she took a role as Grants Officer with Cambridgeshire Community Foundation, taking on a portfolio of funds addressing a wide variety of issues including poverty, community development, children and young people, and health and wellbeing. She is personally passionate about gender equity and strengthening community capacity.
She earned a BSc in Psychology from the University of Kent, and an MSc in Forensic Psychology from the University of Lincoln, where she also volunteered with the student’s union. She was born in the UK and currently lives in Lincolnshire. She loves to crochet, explore local culture and history, and play board games or Dungeons and Dragons with friends.
