Tricia Snyder

Tricia Snyder (she/her) is a development leader with over 15 years of experience securing transformational philanthropic investments, cultivating donor relationships, and advancing strategic campaigns. A first-generation Vietnamese-American and advocate for equitable philanthropy, she integrates feminist principles and intersectional equality into her work, ensuring fundraising strategies align with social justice and systemic change.

As Managing Director of Philanthropy West at UNICEF USA, she championed initiatives tied to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, prioritizing gender equity, health, and education. She expanded donor pipelines through inclusive engagement, leveraging intercultural competencies to foster high-impact giving.

Previously, as Associate Vice President at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), she led fundraising for critical pediatric and family health programs, bridging institutional priorities with community investment. At Cedars-Sinai, she secured principal gifts to advance cardiovascular research, with a focus on closing disparities in women’s heart health outcomes.

Tricia’s career reflects her commitment to dismantling systemic barriers in philanthropy. She was a member of the first cohort of the Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy (WOC) Radiant Leadership Institute, and has driven diversity initiatives sector-wide. She is a dedicated mentor and sponsor to women and professionals of color, advancing leadership pipelines rooted in feminist collaboration and anti-oppressive practices.

Tricia's family's resilience as Vietnamese refugees shaped her belief in opportunity, perseverance, and collective uplift. She holds an MPA from CSU Dominguez Hills, a Certificate in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University, and a BA in Politics from Willamette University. Raised in Portland, Oregon, Tricia now resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
