Lesley Wynn
Lesley Wynn [she/they] is the Senior Manager of Narratives at Global Fund for Women.
Lesley is dedicated to decolonizing international development spaces and supporting radical, intersectional movements for gender justice. She leads Global Fund for Women’s three-person writing sub-team within the Development department and focuses on elevating the perspectives, stories, and labor of women, girls, and gender non-conforming people fighting systemic inequity worldwide.
Prior to joining Global Fund for Women, Lesley worked at The Asia Foundation, developing written content and shaping programs to improve educational and economic opportunities for women, build environmental resilience, and address critical issues facing Asia. She has over twelve years of experience in the philanthropic sector, with previous positions at the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership in New York and the Koret Foundation in San Francisco.
Lesley received an MA in Asia Pacific Studies from the University of San Francisco, and a BA in Gender and Women’s Studies and East Asian Studies from Oberlin College. During her free time, she can be found exploring local museums or wrapped up in a good book.
