Kanika Mannan

Senior Manager of Institutional Partnerships
Kanika Mannan (she/her) is the Senior Manager of Institutional Partnerships at Global Fund for Women.

Kanika has over ten years of fundraising experience, working with corporates, foundations and bilateral agencies to scale social justice initiatives globally.

Most recently, Kanika worked as the Senior Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager at Malala Fund. In this role, Kanika built and strengthened partnerships to support girls’ education programs and advocacy around the world - managing the Development team’s largest portfolio. She enjoys fostering meaningful relationships with donors that are built on trust, shared values and genuine connection.
Kanika is a firm believer in the impact of shifting power to local communities and activists and wants to see a world with more women in leadership positions: from within their own homes to the highest levels of government. She understands that this is the key to building a more equitable and peaceful world.

Kanika received a BA in cultural anthropology from the University of Maryland in College Park, and an MSc in international development from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and having way too much fun with her two kids.
