Jillian Becerra

Jillian Becerra (she/her/hers) is the Senior Director of Human Resources at Global Fund for Women.

Jillian has extensive experience leading high-growth, mission-driven startups and building global People functions from the ground up. She brings a proven track record of implementing data-driven HR strategies, cultivating high-impact teams, and fostering a culture of inclusivity. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.

Before joining Global Fund for Women, she supported team members in 20+ countries and architected People programs across the entirety of the employee and candidate lifecycle while at Unstoppable Domains, ultimately precipitating the company’s recognition as one of the ‘Best Places to Work in Tech' by Forbes, BuiltIn, and ThirdWork.

Moreover, Jillian’s desire to create a more inclusive and equitable world led her to join organizations like Project RISHI, which enabled the sustainable development of rural Indian communities, Good Eggs, which strived to reshape the food system in support of local farmers and food makers, and Unstoppable Domains, which sought to guarantee digital identity as a human right.

Outside of work, Jillian enjoys exploring nature, going to concerts, playing roller derby, and going on adventures with her partner and magical dog, Eno.
