Erica Thurman

Erica is a womanist writer with almost 15 years of program and development experience with orgs dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people.

In addition to her consulting services, Erica previously served as Director of Foundation Relations at National Partnership for Women & Families and Manager of Foundation Relations at National Women’s Law Center. Prior to her work with national orgs, Erica served as Director at YWCA McLean County where she was responsible for the fiscal and programmatic oversight of the Stepping Stones sexual assault program. She has also served as Regional Campaign Coordinator for People Over Politics where she helped secure the passage of two state Constitutional redistricting amendments.

Erica holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Women and Gender Studies from Illinois State University.
