Beatriz Puerta Santos
Beatriz Puerta Santos (she/her/hers) is a consultant to the Feminist Crisis Response Team where she supports the Feminist Alchemy Community of Practice at Global Fund for Women.
Beatriz is a human rights professional and an intersectional feminist with more than ten years of experience supporting organizations, movements and activists to build a society with justice and peace. She is actively practicing her belief in the transformative power that feminist movements bring to the world when they conspire together.
Before working at Global Fund for Women, while coordinating the Urgent Action Fund for Latin America Rapid response grants' team, she learned to listen deep in moments of crisis and practice pause and care as part of feminist crisis response.
Beatriz is also a facilitator and loves to accompany groups to reach their collective knowledge. She is an advisor to Peace Brigades International and to two local temporary relocation programs for Human Rights Defenders that are at risk, advocating for holistic protection practices rooted in intersectional feminist principles.
Beatriz finds inspiration and grounding in nature and caring relations with local and feminist initiatives that nurture her commitment for meaningful change both at local and global levels.
