Anil Awasti

Anil Awasti [he/him/his] is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Global Fund for Women.

He joined the Global Fund for Women in April of 2020. Previously, Anil worked as the Sr. Director of Human Resources for Edgewood Center for Children and Families and prior to that, he worked as the Associate Director of Human Resources Catholic Charities of San Francisco.
Anil is a native San Franciscan and has been working in the non-profit world since he was in college and graduate school.

Outside of work, Anil enjoys teaching as an Adjunct Faculty and volunteering. He is an active board member for a local nonprofit currently and is serving his second term. Anil’s hobbies are weightlifting, billiards, and bowling. Currently, he has been dabbling in DIY home projects as well.

Anil holds a BA in Liberal Studies, an MA in Industrial Organizational Psychology, and an MBA with a concentration in HR Management. He is passionate about improving organizational systems and efficacy through its employees.
