Amidst the significant challenges of Fiscal Year 2020 (FY2020)—from the global COVID-19 pandemic to rising authoritarianism to environmental degradation—Global Fund for Women’s model of feminist philanthropy continues to shift power and resources to communities most impacted by inequality and injustice.

The same principles that guide our work—forging long-term relationships grounded in trust, centering the needs of those who most experience marginalization, supporting underfunded or unregistered groups, and providing flexible, multi-year grants that allow partners to freely direct funding—means that we were ready to respond quickly in moments of crisis.
