Introducing the 2023 Adolescent Girls Advisory Council

Around the world, where there are movements for gender justice and racial justice, there are girls and gender nonconforming people leading the way as activists making waves to create a climate just future, to end period poverty, and to fight for education for everyone. And they are winning! Girls are experts of their own lives, and the best guides for Global Fund for Women’s grantmaking and strategic work for young people. 

To celebrate International Day of the Girl on October 11, 2023, meet the newest cohort of the Adolescent Girls Advisory Council. These 12 phenomenal young people are using their power to find, fund, and amplify girl-led groups and expand their leadership, activism, and movement-building.
